Structural Railings in High School Natatorium | Hollaender

The newly completed natatorium facility addition at Center Grove High School includes a railing system from Hollaender. The natatorium includes one of Indiana's largest competition pools, with a ten-lane Olympic-sized aquatic center.

Fanning Howey Architects in collaboration with Spohn Associates designed the interiors space. Safety railing is a requirement amongst the stepped stadium seating for spectators. They selected Hollaenders Structural Glass Railing System which offered the perfect combination of safety railing and unobstructed views. The railing specifications included an aluminum-based shoe and top cap from Hollaenders Interna-Rail® VUE Aluminum Railing.

Following the installation, the design team incorporated the bright red color of Center Grove High to bring in more school spirit and connect the space with the rest of the school architecture.
