More about this product

Impact Hub Piamonte in Chueca, downtown Madrid, a coworking space recognised as a winner by Frame Awards for its interior design is conceptulised as a vibrant space with vitality and versatility. Designed by Churtichaga+Quadra-Salcedo, Piamonte combines modernity with environmental commintment. The materials used were locally sourced sustainable and recycled materials. Hisbalit's eco-friendly, 100% recycled mosaic tiles were part of the materials selected to create the space.

The design of the space is intended to spark inspiration and improve concentration using a combination of vibrant warm colours and an interplay of textures. Hisbalit recycled mosaic tiles cover the surface of the entire building in one form or another. Specifically, the reference Stone 564 was used on the walls, floors and lobby ceiling in the square format. The result is a beautiful contrast between the grey-toned tile and the yellow handrails which is brought together with the brown and green tones brought in through other elements.

The reference 302 yellow tile from Hisbalit's Unicolor collection was used as a unique touch to identify each floor number. This custom design was created using Hisbalit's Art Factory personalisation service.

The cafeteria applies Hisbalit's tiles in the entrance, floors and part of the walls, creating a uniformity in space. Combined with esparto found on the upper parts of the wall and on the ceilings, a signature motif is created. This motif is carried through to other areas including the auditiorium.

The choice of materials was the key to marking the difference in this project. Hisbalit’s mosaic tiles are manufactured using high-quality recycled glass acquired from other industries with a production process that is entirely clean, using eco-friendly kilns producing zero emissions, all natural pigments and minimum water consumption.
