The Skydoor hinged access skylight from Glazing Vision offers a fully glazed hinged opening skylight designed for easy, daily roof access and is ideal for roof decks.

Operation

The Skydoor is operated with Glazing Vision's LED control switch, requiring only touch, and press and hold notions to operate. The opening automatically opens to 90 degrees by means of synchronised dual actuators, but you can choose to manually stop the system mid-travel to use as a natural ventilation skylight.

Safety

Safety features for Skydoor, include current override sensors, an anti-slip threshold tread plate and a three-point through-beam proximity detector system, this detects any movement beneath the opened section when in motion, preventing the lid from closing until the switch is engaged again.
