This new 114,000 square-foot building design has its roots in the farmer's markets which are common to this area of Long Island, while the characteristics and textures of the home inform the character and details within each space. Interior gardens and informal gathering spaces were created to provide visual interest for patients receiving treatment.

The architecture group Ewing Cole completed the Memorial Sloan Kettering Nassau as an addition to the cancer center in Hempstead, New York for top-quality care in the field. The interior furniture, provided by Andreu World, plays a significant role in creating a comfortable and inviting feeling within the project. The hospital is furnished with pieces such as the Nub and Alya ergonomic armchairs, the Pillow armchairs, the multi-functional and durable Reverse Conference table, and many other elements.

Andreu Wolrd collections offer a versatile range of size, finish, and configuration options. The tables are highly functional allowing electrical connectivity for multimedia, while the chairs have a wide variety of bases and can be specified with accessories such as writing tablets, ganging, and numbering systems.
