Sellex is an international design and manufacturing company that crafts tailored furniture for public spaces. Architecture group AREA Occupier Solutions extended the Town Hall of Sint Michielsgestel incorporating a new community center, which was equipped using a selection of Sellex chairs, stools, and tables.
Sint Michielsgeste Town Hall's new community center project offers a library, catering area, music room, youth club, and various meeting rooms. Given the variety of activities of the new spaces, AREA Occupier Solutions sought to equip the program with a versatile selection of Sellex furniture that could accommodate diverse occupants and activities.
Interior Furniture
Mariska Kouwenhoven, the interior architect for the town hall, selected Sellex furniture to create open, flexible spaces. Thus, almost 60 Fast Tables are located throughout the reading areas because they are easy to arrange in different configurations. Fast Tables are also easy to assemble, making the installation efficient.

Sellex Slam Chairs are the primary seating element, with almost 400 chairs in the town hall. The Slam Sled model has a minimalist design, while the Slam Basic includes armrests. Sellex Slam Chairs are lightweight and ergonomic, which makes them ideal for equipping multifunctional spaces.

Sellex Set Stools are placed in pairs and provide small meeting spaces in the town hall. The Set Stool is a good option for multipurpose buildings like Sint Michielsgeste Town Hall as it can be customized with different frames, heights, and shells.
