The inspiration of the design concept of the construqta park bench is rooted in a fundamental construction element – the truss beam. The beauty of engineering becomes landscape architecture with a symmetrical play of definite inclines and right-angled sides which adds distinguishing features to this otherwise simple cuboid. Small legs integrated onto the bottom slightly lift the whole block, eliminating any possible unevenness caused by the surface. Benches of more than two meters long can be placed separately, in two or three pieces, or arranged in long lines.
Construction
Although seemingly simple, the construction, from a manufacturing point of view is highly sophisticated with the element cast of UHPC – Ultra-High-Performance Concrete. The whole bench has a smooth but not shiny surface and is available in two shades of concrete. As standard, the bench is supplied free-standing.
