Characteristics
Wooden structure, rectangular form
As part of UniFor's Heritage Collection, Consiglio was designed by architect Aldo Rossi and represents his idea of the perfect office. Though created at different times and in different circumstances, the Cartesio, Museo, Parigi armchair, and Consiglio pieces are emblematic of the architect’s postmodern approach to architecture and furniture. As a product of the same design process and style, Consiglio is a classic furniture element characterized by meticulous details and simple form.
Design Concept
UniFor's Consiglio was initially designed for Aldo Rossi's Milanese office in 1991 and later featured in the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht. The table is made of solid wood with a recognizable shape like a rectangle or square, which can be specified according to individual measurements and finishes. Consiglio is made with clean lines and a significant structure, allowing for a large table span of 3 meters.
