More about this product

This private residence in Rishon LeZion was designed by Shachar Rozenfeld Architects with the goal of using the adjacent public park as an extension of the private garden. The house is built in an "L" shape that wraps around the swimming pool and faces the park, allowing a connection through the orientation of the large living room openings.

With glass corners in the bedrooms and living areas, the house blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor space to provide residents with unique access to nature. Thus, the Axolight Hoop pendant lamps were selected to emphasize this feeling of open lightness.

Design Concept

In collaboration with the clients, Shachar Rozenfeld Architects organized the house with the living room, dining area, and kitchen located on the longer side, while the shorter side contains the bedroom. In between, the swimming pool and double-height lobby spaces act as mediating elements. To further break down its large scale, the residence is divided as two masses placed on top of each other, with children's rooms and rooftop balconies dispersed throughout.

Pendant Lamps | Hoops

Aesthetically, the house is defined by modern colors and materials, with extensive openings to give unlimited outdoor access. Through the glass corners, one can easily bypass the interior space into the private garden and feel connected to nature.

Axolight Hoop Pendant Lamps

Shachar Rozenfeld Architects use two of the Axolight Hoop pendant lamps above the primary dining room table to evenly illuminate the space. The Hoop pendant lights are designed by Giovanni Barbato and characterized by a thin linear component that is twisted around a central frame and appears to be floating. In this private residence, the Hoop pendant lights help to develop a feeling of lightness similar to that of the open glass corners, while also providing functional light.
