For interior design and furnishing company Longhi, bringing the art of luxury living into every room is a top priority. With high-quality products and materials, Longhi transforms traditional objects into prestigious and exclusive furniture. In this private New York penthouse, Longhi used the large, well-ventilated spaces and high luminous ceiling to create an open and bright residential space.
This New York apartment is unique due to its generous vertical extension, which allowed the installation of important brise soleil units that allow a good deal of light to enter the room, while also diversifying the entire home. To complement this, Longhi selected a variety of fine materials such as frappuccino marble, glossy ebony wood, and nubuck suede for the furnishings. Thus, the interior fixtures in the living, dinning, and bedroom areas are highlighted with sun and become opulent factors for the expansive New York backdrop.
Longhi's products are skilfully fitted together in a custom composition. In the living room area, two separate Etruria bookcase units are stacked to form a divider that does not suffocate the room. The living room features a fold seating system with Dorthy armchairs, a Sigma pouf, and Layer tables. The adjacent dining room includes the Damien dining table in Dover White marble paired with Frances chairs.
For the bedroom, the Amy bed was selected with the Elise night table and a Laurent armchair. The walls are covered with leather boiserie panels and the lowered ceilings have edges that mimic the Relief door jambs and frames on some of the structural elements. The marble floors have inserts in gold coloured metal. Overall, Longhi's furniture elements infuse this New York penthouse with a charming and dynamic aesthetic.
