Suspended Lights - Absorb V | A-Light

A-Light's series Absorb V is a system which combines high-quality lighting, acoustic technology, and sustainability. Absorb V includes vertical sound absorbing panels which help reduce noise in large open areas with high ceilings, while simultaneously providing controlled illumination. Panels are made of felt-like polyester with 40% post-consumer recycled PET bottles and are fully recyclable. Absorb V has a large surface area which allows the acoustic panels to decrease reverberation and have a sound absorption rate of 0.75 NRC. Thus, Absorb V is ideal for large open public spaces to allow increased comfort and focus through sound control.

Anatomy

The Absorb V series is a vertical suspension system made of 60% recycled aluminum with either aluminum or felt-like end caps. Various features such as the integral 0-10V dimming driver provide additional user control. Panels are mounted with a stainless steel aircraft cable system which creates a floating effect to fill large spaces. Absorb V is also available in a slim unlit panel which compliments the lit versions while contributing more sound absorption for especially open areas. All versions of the Absorb V are available in 12" and 24" heights, with 4', 8', and 12' nominal lengths.
