More about this product

With TANGRAMis5, Interstuhl is introducing an intelligent, innovative, and highly efficient soft-seating solution for office, lounge, and waiting areas. Working environments are changing. Communication has become the critical factor for company success. And furnishing solutions that promote professional communication and informal working are every bit as important. TANGRAMis5 is just such a solution. Wherever people wait, get together in informal groups, or need a secluded place to work, TAN-GRAMis5 can be put to good use.

The basic idea of TANGRAMis5 is “Just Connect”. Its intelligent modular principle, which allows you to create seating landscapes in whatever shape and size you want, out of just a few elements, is brought alive by the simple and free connection of individual components. The light, compact construction makes it possible for users to re-combine and re-configure TANGRAMis5 again and again in whatever way they want, without any major effort. This means that the whole system does not require any tools.

With TANGRAMis5, the design concept of Swiss designer Andreas Krob goes back to the shape of the square. This was divided into four modules – not at right angles, but rotated by 15°. This generates asymmetrical seating elements which in turn generate a huge number of surprising combination possibilities. Added to this are a trapezoid stool, a table, also trapezoid, and a translucent or acoustic screen. These screens are easy to move, and provide discreet private environments when these are required. Added to this comes a diverse choice of accessories, including cushions, with electrical sockets, a special tray, and optional link elements.
