The Classico brick collection from Nelissen is available in 6 varieties.
The hand moulded facade bricks (non-perforated) have five sand-covered sides and one side with possible oblong groove. The structure looks rugged with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process takes place in a gas-heated tunnel oven under a slightly reduced atmosphere.
Old-Terduinen - The brick has an ochre base. The various types of sand are responsible for calcareous sediment slightly diminishing the ochre colour. The colour variations contain ochre shadings alternated with white, purple-anthracite and pink shadings.
Belle Epoque de Marche - The brick has an orange base, and the hues vary from orange to burgundy colour in combination with marl colored shades. The typical old aspect is the result of the wet and unbaked bricks’ treatment with various admixtures.
Old-Limburg - The brick has an orange base, and the hues vary from orange to burgundy colour in combination with marl-coloured and blue shades. The typical old aspect is the result of the wet and unbaked bricks’ treatment with various admixtures.
