House R is a two-storey home designed by Berghaus Architekte in Lohauserholz, Hamm. The 250 m² home has a bold formal language and assertive materiality.
Located on the north-east property line, the building is orientated to open to the South-west allowing a flowing transmission between internal and external spaces. The home is flooded with natural light with large VEKA windows that focus views into the surrounding green areas. The large sliding windows in the living-dining area are a focal point for family living in the home.

VEKA ARTLINE 82
With the VEKA ARTLINE 82 profile, VEKA opens up design possibilities in a new aesthetic dimension. The profile is characterized by a frame that completely covers the window sash behind it from the outside and can be almost completely insulated. This leads to lines and large-scale exterior views that are unique for plastic windows. VEKA ARTLINE 82 is therefore predestined for modern, clean design.
