Husk by Patricia Urquiola is presented in new versions in addition to the chair with die-cast legs already in the collection. The new variants extend its use and change the perception of the piece. Now the base can be in oak wood (light, black, grey, and smoked), or with a four-star base in aluminum, with or without castors, in a wide range of finishes.
Designed to accompany the Husk bed, the Husk table is useful in domestic environments with its design based on a circular metal tray lightly resting on solid die-cast supports. Painted white or black, the top also has a copper finish as an homage to an ancient material that was once associated with classical aesthetics, and which has been revisited today with a modern sensitivity.
Top | Bronzed nickel painted, black painted, or with burnished copper finish steel sheet |
Support frame | Bronzed nickel painted or painted black chrome steel sheet and die-cast aluminum |
Ferrules | Plastic material |
Husk can radically change its appearance, from a single color to an extremely bright or subtly elegant style. With this project, B&B Italia embraces the theme of ecology by using both recycled and recyclable materials, and components that can be fully disassembled in future – thus simplifying the recycling process and reducing the environmental impact.
