Piñatex® from Ananas Anam is an innovative natural textile made from waste pineapple leaf fiber. The leather-look material is manufactured from leaves that are the byproduct of existing pineapple agriculture creating a natural, sustainably sourced, cruelty-free product that requires no additional environmental resources to produce. The Piñatex Metallic Collection is dynamic and glossy, available in gold, silver, and black. To make this collection, the Piñafelt is colored using GOTS certified pigments and a resin top coating is applied to give additional strength, durability and water resistance. A foil is then heat pressed on to create the Metallic Collection.
