Fastmount has introduced a new heavy-duty clip with a screw fixing to its Standard Range, the PC-SVMX clip aims to further simplify installation of interior panels in the architectural market. The clip has a 15kg pull out load and 100kg shear load making it suitable for installing heavier wall panels and ceiling panels without visible fixings.
Installation
Fastmount hidden panel mounting systems are used by the architectural market for interior construction processes and it became evident that there was a need for a male clip in the Standard Range that could be installed with the least amount of extra tools possible. PC-SVMX clips are compatible with all other female clips in the Fastmount Standard Range, the best results for installation without special tools is a pearing with the PC-SF1.

Ideal for CNC machining, panels can be fabricated with pre-drilled screw holes, ready for clip installation which can be done off-site thanks to the sturdiness of the clip protectin it from transit damage.
Characteristics
PC-SVMX clips have the qualities of the popular Fastmount PC-VMX clip, including a sturdy head shape and strong shear load, but removes the self-tapping base in favour of three screw holes, which helps it provide rapid installation without special tools. Unlike the PC-VMX, the PC-SVMX can be installed without the red CT-01ST centrepoint tool, typically used for panel to wall alignment, thanks to a self-centring point on the back face.
