Sadovniki Park is one of the most modern parks in Moscow. Appearing in 1989, it was repeatedly re-developed, the largest reconstruction occurred in 2014 which left the park with an area of 34.5 hectares.
Today, all visitors are greeted at the entrance by a massive wood and corten steel installation, made by Punto Design. Within the park, divers planters match up to the largest parks in Europe, and the center is reserved for a fountain area with a large dry fountain. Around the square, there are garden terraces designed for walking and relaxing.
The highlight of the park is the redesigned Riga Garden, which has shade canopies made of carved plates, decorative arches, a network of thematic footpaths, many design elements and comfortable wood and steel benches. It also houses one of the best skate parks in Russia with the most modern equipment.
Punto Design has made a serious contribution to updating the appearance of the park:
- A memorable entranceway installation
- A wide network of various bench types
- Decorative arches made of corten steel
