More about this product

Bruag panels can be used for a virtually limitless range of exterior applications. CELLON® or Formboard top pine are recommended base materials to which an unlimited selection of custom or standard perforation patterns and colors can be applied.

  • Formboard top pine
Made from wood-based fibers with polyurethane bonding
  • CELLON®
A high-pressure laminate panel (HPL), consisting of 70% cellulosic web and 30% phenolic resin

Wood-Based Panel or High-Pressure Laminate?

The choice for exterior panel materials is between a wood-based material, which naturally changes over time, but is eco-friendly and inexpensive, or a solid core board, which is weather-resistant and stable:

Formboard top pine uses a special bonding meaning it is suitable for exterior applications, its advantages are great value and eco-friendliness (as it incorporates recycled sawdust). Over time the surface of Formboard top pine may change to a small extent and the panels themselves will expand by about 3 parts per thousand. If façade panels need to retain the same surface quality even after years of use, CELLON® is the material of choice. CELLON® is completely moisture-resistant and expands by no more than 1 part per thousand.

CELLON® Formboard top pine

Description

The façade board is available in a huge variety of colors and shapes, with impressive resistance. The compact high-pressure laminate board based on cellulose and phenol resin passes every endurance test. 8 millimeters defy all weather challenges. And nearly every perforation you can imagine is possible. The only wood fiber board with DiBt approval. During its few years on the market, the Formboard facade system has been tried and tested in hundreds of industrial, private and public buildings. With its ecological credentials and design freedom, it is becoming more and more popular with architects and property owners.
