EBE thermal break firestop system for doors and fixed panels can be used in connection with other Secco Sistemi EBE fixtures. The EBE AF EI system offers a range of doors and glazed partitions – for both interior and exterior use – with the same materials, shapes and thicknesses, and accessories as other Secco Sistemi products; this means that all the elements blend with each other in harmony with the rest of the building.

EBE AF EI 30 system is integrated with accessories, gaskets and thermal break profiles of 65 mm depth allowing for a wide range of fire-resistant doors and glazed partitions to be realized. Single or insulated glazing with thicknesses of up to 40 mm can be installed.

Fire Resistance

To give protection from fumes and fire, spaces need to be compartmentalized and fire-proof doors and windows integrated consistently with the other fixtures of the building. Thanks to a materials and components study, including accessories and gaskets, the Secco Sistemi AF system offers fixtures that provide different classes of protection from fire: EI 30 casings and frames that exploit the technology of the thermally insulated profiles of the EBE systems. The performance of the system has been tested in conformity with the current standard EN 1634-1 regulations.

The capacity of the EBE AF fixture to prevent flames and hot fumes from passing (fire-resistance E) is guaranteed by the structural profile and by the rebate double seal system. The capacity to contain the temperature on the side not exposed to the flames (insulation I) is obtained through the particular thermal break made up of fire-proof resins.
