The building designed by architects ClarkeHopkinsClarke meets strict institutional standards for aged care homes whilst simultaneously standing out as a striking piece of architecture that embodies the facility’s mission to provide a safe, secure, happy environment and ensure the quality of life for those in their care.
Breaking away from the sterile look of traditional care homes, James Hardie’s ExoTec cladding system with versatile express panels brought a light and lively feel to the building façades. It was utilized for the ability to control panel placement of the adaptable, durable material in order to create unique patterns and break up facades, presenting a warm face for its vibrant community.
