Rodeca LBE panels are available in three widths and a wide range of colors and design options. The versatile translucent building elements are well suited for interior design use, especially when featuring backlit constructions that make use of the transparency of the panels.

Material

Polycarbonate is a crystal clear, high impact thermoplastic with a variety of advantages:

  • Temperature resistance from -40 to 115°C, temporarily up to 130°C
  • Impact resistance virtually unchanged within these temperatures
  • Good long term performance through UV protection
  • Translucent with excellent thermal properties

Description 333mm wide panels with groove and tongue connection is available with six layers ; U-value 1.3 W/m²K. 500mm wide panels with groove and tongue connection are available with different layer numbers; U-values range from 1.4 to approx. 1.0 W/m²K. A 10-layer panel that achieves an Ucw-value of approx. 1.0W/m²K. The system has a German general technical approval including thermally broken perimeter frame profiles. The 12-layer, 500mm panel has an approx. Ucw-value of 0.87W/m²K. This panel system is very interesting for applications with high demands on heat insulation.
