Metal Cladding in CD Smith Corporate Office | Morin Corp.

Morin Corporation is specialized in the roll forming of architectural heavier gauge single-skin metal wall and metal roof systems. In the new CD Smith Corporate Office, Approximately 8,700 sq ft of MX-1.0, 2.0 & 4.0 metal panels from Morin Corp. were used as metal façade cladding. The project was born after the company outgrew its existing space and required a headquarters of high-quality design and performance to better represent the company and support its growth.

The building owner chose zinc for the 100-year life cycle of the material. Morin’s Matrix series allowed the owner to introduce a number of profiles, creating a decorative aesthetic with a play on shadow cast. Another benefit of the material is the fact that it is virtually maintenance-free.
