Batimet wood-aluminum windows made in Germany are certified for energy efficiency. In this offset window design, the frame profile and the sash profile form an offset surface plane. Between glass and sash profile there is a rebate of 18 mm depth. The elevation of the visible sash profile is 35 mm and it runs sloped to the glass level. In the case of certain static requirements, the sash profile can be made wider.
The rebate area is drained by means of concealed punch holes in the bottom profile crosspiece of the frame or it can be optionally drained with a visible cover cap.
