The Bangalore International Airport is a four-story building that hosts international and domestic passenger and cargo operations. The arrival and departure areas are separated vertically and have been designed for ease of operation and minimal maintenance. The terminal was designed to accommodate over 2,000 passengers at peak times and handled 12.5 million passengers and over 220,000 tonnes of cargo in 2011.
Three Falcon Spider Lifts FS370’s are in use at the airport to facilitate cleaning and maintenance. This model was selected due to the working height, low weight, low ground pressure, dual power system, and unmatched double jib performances.
About the Falcon Spider Lift - FS 370
The Falcon Spider Atrium Lift FS 370 is an original Falcon Spider Lift with a 37 m working height, available with both wheels and tracks. The Falcon Spider Atrium Lift was originally invented at first in the 1970s and has been developed ever since. The Falcon Spider Atrium Lift is capable of passing through a door opening a mere 0,9 m wide and 1,98 m high. The Falcon Spider Lift FS 370 is suitable for:
