More about this product

Located in Göteborg, Sweden, The Vallgatan 12 coffee shop allows patrons to enjoy a coffee and the local street life no matter what the weather. The front of the café features a large vertical retracting window that provides an uninterrupted street view during the cooler months and can be opened up as a large window onto the street in warm weather.

Libart’s vertical retracting window is essential to achieving the design vision for the Vallgatan Coffee Shop. The design utilizes a Panora-View window that has top-to-bottom retraction. In the closed position, the window offers a frameless picture window shop-front. In the open position, it forms a glass balustrade, providing an essential link to the outdoors while also offering wind protection to indoor diners.
