FabriTec Structures designs and builds tensile membrane-covered entryways. Their covered entryway structures are modern interpretations of time-honored classical architecture. FabriTec produces building entries that range from portico-style structures that cover the entrance of a building to porte-cochere structures that cover a driveway at the entrance of a building to provide shelter while entering or exiting a vehicle. At just 1/100th the weight of glass the advanced ETFE, PTFE, and PVC membrane materials used to craft FabriTec structures from requires minimal structural support which allows the creation of amazing, fanciful tensile membrane structures previously unimagined.
Covered entryways provide visitors protection from the elements while entering or exiting a building, helps to reduce water infiltration at entrances, and decreases the risk of slips or falls from rain, snow, or ice. FabriTec covered entryway structures are low maintenance, can be designed to allow filtered daylight, and are sustainably built.
