GOODWOOD Victorian ash is an appearance grade hardwood from Australian Sustainable Hardwoods (ASH). Victorian ash as a material is very easy to work, cut, stain and build with. GOODWOOD Victorian ash itself has straight-line edges after drying, minimal pink coloring, and is internally scanned for defects. ASH provides a range of timber options for all aspects of internal fit-outs. Hardwood joinery is available in select, standard and utility grades.

Sustainability
Using ASH's sustainably harvested wood products reduces the process of climate change in several ways; growing trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store the carbon so efficiently that about half the dry weight of a tree is carbon. This carbon remains locked in the wood even when used for building products. The production of wood products uses less energy than other materials (usually sourced from finite fossil fuels).
