The tea selection was designed for Sancal by José Manuel Ferrero of studio EstudiHac, it has a lounge chair selection and a minimalist dining chair. For the lounge chair, they used the ritual of teatime as inspiration. The piece is based on traditional British style. The dining chair was created by reducing the lounge chair to its minimum expression. The result: a light, fluffy dining chair with slender oak feet.
Covering
The Tea Collection incorporates hexagonal quilting and the possibility of creating bi-colored pieces. Thin piping defines the quilt and differentiates it from the plain upholstery of the base. José Manuel Ferrero has proposed a selection of colors and textures produced by Kvadrat. In its quilted version Tea can be upholstered in fabric and synthetic leather. In its plain version, without quilting, it can also be upholstered in leather.
