FormatPerforated panels with acoustic backing
Arktura architectural ceilings use aluminum to create custom perforated panel ceiling and wall systems based on a grid-layout configuration.
The Vapor® Family ceiling system has a modern, abstract design. It features a choice of two backers:
- Acoustically performative Soft Sound® material
- Light-transmitting frosted polycarbonate backer
The panels have a one-half inch thick Soft Sound® backer panel, providing an NRC rating of up to 0.9. When combined with an open, laser cut, graphic metal panel excellent acoustical performance can be achieved across an entire space or over a desired zone.
Soft Sound® is an acoustical material made up of 100% PET plastic with up to 60% recycled content. It can be recycled at the end of its lifecycle.
Arkura products are preconfigured solutions designed with an array of adaptable criteria and effects. Ceiling systems can be customized using Arkturas' 'toolset' which includes many powerful design variables:
- Overall configuration
- Attachment points
