Arktura architectural ceilings use Soft Sound®, a felted material, to create customizable acoustic drop ceiling systems. SoftFold® modular acoustic ceilings introduce design elements into a space and also serves to screen existing infrastructure from sight. SoftFold® has been modularly designed and is scalable to adapt to the specific needs of any project and space.
SoftFold® achieves acoustical dampening while creating a sublt play between light and shadow. It comes in half or full-size modules, available in a wide range of colors.
Materials
Modules are built from Soft Sound® acoustical material, which can provide an NRC rating of up to 0.9. Along with the system's angular faces, an excellent acoustical performance can be reached either across an entire space or over a desired zone.
Soft Sound® is an acoustical material made up of 100% PET plastic with up to 60% recycled content. It can be recycled at the end of its lifecycle.
