Display Case - A-Class | Goppion

Goppion designs, develops and builds display cases and museum installations. The company works with curators and exhibit designers to develop solutions to individual projects with a collaborative approach.

Goppion A-class display cases are geometrically simple with clean lines, visible hinges and lowered case platforms.

Types

• Av1 type
  Vertical display case with door rotating on a pivot hinge on a vertical axis, with a glass top.
• Ah1 type
  Horizontal display case with one or two doors rotating on a pivot hinge on a vertical axis.

• Av2 type
  Vertical display case with sliding door and glass top

Multi-door display cases

A-Class display cases can be made with two, three, or more doors, each can be up to one meter wide. For structural reasons, an opening door must alternate with a fixed glass section.

Av2-Type

Av2 cases can be made with a low or high base. The glass top has an internal metal frame which gives structural rigidity and accommodates the upper sliding rails.

Sliding movement

The door slides without needing to be pulled out or tilted in any way. Steel rails and ball bearings along the bottom take the weight of the door as it slides across, while upper steel rails hold it perfectly vertical.

Sustainability

Goppion uses ecologically-correct methods and makes efforts to use sustainable materials as well as research new materials and manufacturing processes with low environmental impacts. Goppion designs cases to last over time to reduce the need for replacement and recycling of industrial products.
