ApplicationsPhotovoltaic panels, ventilated rainscreen cladding
CharacteristicsLong period of energy yield, rainscreen protection, building integrated photovoltaic BIPV, PV (photovoltaic) modules based on CIGS (copper indium gallium selenide) film technology, convert radiation directly to electricity, No visible cables, no penetrations to wall, two option for connection to grid
Ruukki Liberta™ Solar is a way to integrate renewable energy production within a building, visibly and with high aesthetic quality. The system is both fully functional as a ventilated rainscreen and a photovoltaic panel. Wall installation means that energy yield accumulates for a longer period of the year than with traditional roof installed panels.
Ruukki Liberta™ Solar façade system completed with support studs, flashings, fasteners and electrical components provides a fully finished facade, as well as easy and quick installation.
