CharacteristicsProjection screens, rear screens, custom audiovisual solutions, audiovisual lifts and complementary products (available in multiple formats)
Draper offers multiple audiovisual solutions for all types of projects. From applications in home theaters and classrooms to auditoriums and commercial movie theaters, Draper's audiovisual products include screening solutions, custom projection methods and audiovisual lifts for projectors, screens and cameras.
1. Electric Projection Screens
a) Tab-Tensioned, Ceiling-Recessed Access Screens
Draper introduced the Access line of projection screens as a breakthrough in screen design. The cases can be hidden in the ceiling and the screen can be lowered when needed. Screens feature surfaces from the OptiFlex™ family that offers a perfectly flat viewing surface. CineFlex™, ClearSound™ and Draper’s exclusive award winning TecVision® surfaces are also available.
b) Wall or Ceiling-Mounted, Tab-Tensioned Screens
Draper’s wall-or ceiling-mounted motorized projection screens are available with improved tabs for tensioning. Tab-tensioned screens provide a perfectly flat viewing surface with better image quality. Draper’s RF welded tabs create a more durable seal that eliminates separation and stickiness.
c) Wall or Ceiling-Mounted, Free-Hanging Screens
Motorized screens that hang free with no tab-tensioning are a good choice if a lightweight, easy to install screen is needed in homes, offices or institutions. Free-hanging screens come with the wide selection of endcaps, mounting brackets, and headboxes.
2. Custom Audiovisual Solutions
Custom audiovisual solutions help blend audiovisual technology into any architectural design. Creating custom solutions for project-specific problems can be a difficult task and bringing Draper on your team to help with drawings, 3D prints, and communication with other trades ensures projects run as smoothly as possible.
Products can be customized for any application or situation:
–Screens: premium screen surfaces, front or rear projection, fixed or roller-operated, blended, curved, or flat
–Lifts: projectors, screen booms, camera and video conferencing, custom solutions
–Structures: LED support structures, projector mounts and flycages & specialty systems
3. Audiovisual (AV) Lifts
Lifting solutions mount and hide projectors, cameras, projection screens, flat panels and other audiovisual equipment. Audiovisual lifts provide a solution for any installation challenge, from limited space, high and angled ceilings to large projectors and obstructions, and Draper's designers engineer the perfect solutions to lift, move, or hide any audiovisual equipment. Control options range from simple wall switches and remote controls to interface with third party control systems.
4. Rear Screens
Rear screens improve resolution and image visibility in screenings. Available in glass or acrylic, they offer uniform visibility over a wide range of viewing angles. The screens are available in many configurations and sizes; standard glass screens are available up to 204" wide, while acrylic screens are available up to 192" wide.
