Linear projector with comfortable optics
SIMES presents Catch, an innovative square and rectangular downlight range that combines visual comfort, minimalist dimensions and adjustability thanks to its tilting optical base. Through the use of state-of-the-art cowls the optical system is glare free highlighting the importance of visual comfort required when using LED sources.
SIMES offers an adjustable version of Catch, that can be installed either flush with the external trim or with a limited protrusion allowing greater tilt adjustability and improved beam angle precision. The reduced recessed dimensions allows for shallow depth installations and the remote drivers provides a quick and easy install, with DALI options available on request.
SIMES' Catch has been designed using a composition of single square optical systems, aiming at a minimum size and a maximum visual comfort: the primary geometries enclosed in a modular system have created a square and rectangular downlight featuring a strict and minimal design. The attention to detail and the wide choice of technical and esthetical solutions at reach if the designer, allow the development of a variety of versions: they go from the more traditional ones with body and trim made of aluminum, to the more sophisticated versions with stainless steel trim.
Catch is available with fixed or tilting optics. The versions with tilting optics may be shaped with a protruding light source (15mm) or with flush with the trim. The extremely shallow mounting depth and the location of the power supply close to the unit make the recessed ceiling mount installation easy.
