More about this product

The Seabrook Island Beach Club offers its members and guests a place to relax and unwind at their ocean front pools. In partnership with Superior Recreation of the Carolinas, they fulfilled their need for pool shade structures that look beautiful alongside their beach club. The Superior Shade solution includes three custom triangle sails to cover the dining area and two arched cantilever shades over their pool-side loungers. The shade sails were custom designed to allow guests to enjoy the beach club amenities without the harshness of the sun.

Triangle Sails

Triangular sails are 3-sided shade canopies that are attached to columns or wall brackets. They can be configured using a single sail or designed to incorporate numerous sail shades using multiple columns and connection points. By using different attachment elevations between numerous sails, you can create beautiful architectural design elements that will enhance the space. Sails should be limited to 55’ on the longest side and should not exceed a 2:1 ratio between the shortest side and the two longest sides averaged together. Sail shades allow our customers to truly get creative and allows us to work together to create custom shade solutions that fit your space.

Arched Cantilever

The Arched Cantilever features two upright posts and is an economical way of shading spaces using a cantilever style arched frame. This type of cantilever has a preferred max width of 14’ but can be configured with multiple bays to cover any distance with a desired max length of 20’ before adding multiple bays. It is ideal for applications where the single upright post per side allows for maximum use of shaded space below without the need for additional support columns. The Arched Cantilever makes for a stylish walkway cover or pool shade but can be used in limitless applications.
