More about this product
The company Rothoblaas presents XYLOFON, a high performance resilient profile for soundproofing. It significantly reduces the transmission of airborne and structural noise (from 5 dB to over 15 dB).
Tested and certified for use as a desolidarisation and mechanical interruption layer between building materials. It can be used in multiple situations to acoustically uncouple the most critical structural connections (elevator shafts and mixed structures). The thickness of 6 mm facilitates the design of the architectural details.
The low thickness of 6 mm of the 5 versions of Rothoblaas' XYLOFON supports a wide load range (more than 400 kN/m) without affecting the design choices.
Material and durability
- Polyurethane mixture with a hardness between 35 and 90 shore.
- Product without VOC or harmful substances.
- Very chemically stable and without deformations over time.
The profiles are easily processed and installed using the most common
site tools; their reliability over time is guaranteed by the homogeneity of polyurethane, a stable and waterproof material.
