Martinelli Luce was founded in 1950 in the historic center of Lucca in Tuscany by Elio Martinelli. Thanks to his spirit of enterprise and innovation, he started producing iconic pieces such as the Cobra, Foglia, Bolla and Serpente lamps that have left an indelible mark on the history of Italian lighting design. The Bat, designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965, is a piece of the most iconic society. In addition to lighting solutions for the home, the company also produces technical luminaires for offices, shops, hotels and large commercial spaces.
