Bauwerk Parkett was founded 70 years ago in St. Margrethen, Switzerland. The long-established company is considered the inventor of modern 2-layer parquet for full-surface bonding. Bauwerk employs about 600 people and manufactures its 2-layer flooring exclusively in the plants in St. Margrethen in Switzerland and in Salzburg (AT).

In the production of high-quality products for the object and private construction only raw materials from controlled origin are used. In addition, the floors are free of critical or polluting substances and guaranteed as a natural product CO2-neutral. Due to their hygienic, easy-to-clean, almost silently accessible surface and their climate-compensating properties, they ensure ideal living health.

The bars and planks are processed with great care and then individually laid according to traditional craftsmanship. This shows the years of competence of the company and the craft. Its special nature makes parquet a desirable floor, because each element becomes an unmistakable unique piece - and the largest piece of furniture in the room.
