The development of aluminium profiles for Industry applications started in 1997 as a result of the increased demand of this kind of products.
Extrusal has two machining centers, one located in Aveiro and another in Vila Nova de Gaia. To ensure the quality of all processes, Extrusal has two internal laboratories to support the extrusion process and surface treatments.

Extrusal was the first portuguese company, and continues to be one of the only in Europe, to be simultaneously certified in the process of dies manufacture, extrusion and surface treatments by the NP EN ISO 9002, and since 2000 by NP EN ISO 9001.

Today, Extrusal possesses this certification also for the machining process.

In addition of offering clients pre-designed profiles, Extrusal gives its clients the possibility of presenting their own projects which satisfy their specific needs.
