Characteristics
Shading automation, building automation, weather sensor integration, remote maintenance, modular and expandable systems
Schenker Storen develops shading solutions that combine architectural integration with functional performance. Schenker Storen controller systems automate and coordinate shading systems in buildings, with solutions for medium to complex applications. Designed primarily for commercial buildings, the range includes controller systems, KNX-based solutions, and components for operating shading drives, integrating sensors, and connecting to higher-level building automation systems.
The SE 1000 is a high-end controller for automating different drives, including windows, blinds, and awnings. Designed for large properties and developments, it supports comprehensive shading concepts with extensive protection and blocking functions, configurable priorities, and individually programmed automation.
- Suitable for large properties and developments
- Integration of wind, solar radiation, indoor temperature, and humidity sensors
- Modular and expandable with plug-in terminals
- Integration into higher-level building management systems
- Available as a conventional motor control system or central KNX control unit
The KNX bus system is used for building and room automation because of its standardisation; it is easy to combine devices from different manufacturers. KNX is suitable for both independent shading systems and networked room automation – from a Smart Home to an office block.
- Can operate the devices either individually or in groups
- Customised and flexible automations
- The facade controller of the weather station can be used on smaller and medium-sized properties
Schenker Storen offers a range of accessories that complement its controller systems, including parallel control units and motor control devices.
- Parallel control units: Parallel control units must be used to ensure the drives are not damaged by the parallel connection. These are available in a practical plug-in housing for an external installation in the recess or alternatively as a flush-mounted option for installation behind the switch.
- Motor control devices that can be installed on a cap rail (for modular devices) as well as a flush-mounted option. - for motors with one or two lower limit switches.
