Occhio develops holistic lighting solutions for architecture and interior design. Occhio luminaires were used in High Five, a private villa in Mallorca, Spain.
High Five is a four-level villa located on a hillside site above a bay on the western coast of Mallorca. Completed in 2025, the architecture is organized around an open floor plan connecting interior and exterior spaces across all four levels, including a terrace with an infinity pool.
On the terrace, Luna pura is used beside the infinity pool. On the top floor, which houses the living and dining area, three height-adjustable Mito cosmo move luminaires are installed above the dining table; the luminaire retracts into the ceiling to accommodate the fully openable glass surfaces on this level.
Recessed downlights from the lui spotlight series are used as accent lighting in the same area. In the bedroom, lui piano v edge spotlights provide ambient lighting, and Sento filo, with a rotatable head and directional light, is installed at the headboard.
lui piano v edge is also used in the adjoining spa-style bathroom. In the central stairwell, eight Mito sospeso pendant luminaires are suspended in pairs on each floor, using extended suspension lengths.
In the lounge adjacent to the master suite, Gioia lettura floor luminaire is positioned next to the sofa as a reading light.
