Sculptural Luminaires in THE CLOUD by Käfer | Occhio

Occhio develops holistic lighting solutions for architecture and interior design. Occhio luminaires were used in THE CLOUD by Käfer, a fine-dining restaurant at BMW Welt in Munich, Germany.

THE CLOUD by Käfer is located within BMW Welt, a multi-functional brand experience, vehicle delivery, and exhibition center located in Munich, Germany. The design by hildmannwilke and Designworks centers on the "Dining Cloud," a suspended light sculpture above the main dining area, combined with floor-to-ceiling curtains and natural materials.

Above the long dining table and at individual tables, Luna sospeso pendant luminaires are installed in a cloud-like cluster formation.

At the Biophilic Bar, Coro sospeso luminaires are positioned above the counter to highlight the Perlino marble surface.

Luna pura and Coro piano edge were also specified as part of the lighting scheme.
