Jakob Rope Systems USA manufactures high-performance stainless steel cable and mesh systems for architectural, sports, and infrastructure applications. Inviss-C frames with Webnet mesh infill from Jakob were installed throughout Intuit Dome, a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment arena located in Inglewood, California, providing transparent guardrail infill systems that maximize safety without obstructing spectator views.
The Intuit Dome, the LA Clippers' $2 billion arena completed in 2024, was designed to deliver an exceptional fan experience while accommodating approximately 18,000 spectators. Designed by AECOM in collaboration with Hood and Anderson Barker, the venue required comprehensive safety systems capable of meeting building code requirements without compromising the clear sightlines that define premium seating throughout the arena. The project demanded custom-engineered solutions capable of adapting to the building's complex geometries across multiple seating levels and public circulation areas.

Working with railing contractor Sightline Commercial Solutions and the project design team, Jakob supplied approximately 17,000 linear feet of Inviss-C frames with Webnet mesh infill. Each mesh panel was precision-engineered using advanced 3D laser scanning to ensure an exact fit within the painted steel guardrail systems. Fabricated from AISI 316 marine-grade stainless steel, the system provides long-term corrosion resistance, exceptional durability, and a nearly invisible appearance that preserves uninterrupted views while delivering reliable, code-compliant fall protection throughout the venue.
