Vibia is a lighting manufacturer that develops architectural lighting solutions for residential, hospitality, workplace, and public environments. The company presents Asia, a collection of pendant, floor, and table luminaires designed by Antoni Arola. Inspired by the serenity of traditional Asian rooftops and the delicacy of rice paper, the collection combines glass craftsmanship, refined materials, and integrated LED technology to create warm, diffused illumination.
Asia is defined by the interplay of transparent and translucent materials that give light a quiet, architectural presence. At the center of the luminaire, an ultra-clear glass cylinder precisely houses the LED light source, while an opal glass diffuser positioned above filters the light into a soft, warm glow. The combination of these contrasting elements creates the impression that light naturally emerges from within the luminaire, extending gently into the surrounding space.

The collection includes pendant, floor, and table luminaires, each designed to accommodate different lighting requirements. The pendant version features an adjustable suspension height, allowing the lighting effect to be adapted to the proportions and atmosphere of a space. The floor and table versions incorporate an adjustable diffuser that intuitively directs light where it is needed, making them suitable for reading areas, workspaces, and other settings requiring focused illumination.

Asia features a lacquered glass shade, a steel or stainless-steel body, a polycarbonate (PC) diffuser, and an external diffuser in ultra-clear quartz glass. The collection is available in Black (NCS S 8500-N), Warm White (NCS S 0502-Y50R), and Beige D1 (NCS S 4005-Y50R).
Lighting Performance
The collection incorporates an integrated LED light source with a color temperature of 2700 K, producing warm illumination suited to residential and hospitality environments.
