Elevate has 40 years of experience in roofing solutions that enhance building performance and protect communities. Located in Anderlecht, Brussels, Les Trèfles is a school and sports complex organized around a distinctive four-leaf clover plan. To waterproof its green roof, the project uses Elevate UltraPly TPO™, supporting the building's long-term performance and sustainability objectives.
Les Trèfles was designed by Árter Architects, receiving the "Exemplary Building" (BatEx) prize for its innovative combination of passive construction, sustainability, learning and green features. To waterproof the building's 7,000 m² roof, Elevate collaborated with contractor MUTEC to install the UltraPly TPO™ roofing system.

The roof assembly consists of a self-adhesive bitumen vapor barrier membrane, two layers of 15 cm-thick PIR insulation boards, and a 1.5 mm thick Elevate UltraPly TPO single-ply membrane, fully adhered with contact adhesive.
The choice of roofing membrane, as well as all other construction materials, was determined based on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which takes into consideration the total environmental impact of products during their entire life cycle.
