Flou is an Italian brand designing and producing contemporary bedroom furniture. Flou presents Yuna, an upholstered bed designed by Carlo Colombo in 2024 and characterized by its sculptural headboard and welcoming proportions. Combining generous volumes, soft curves, and carefully tailored details, Yuna is conceived as the focal point of contemporary bedroom interiors.
Yuna is defined by a large upholstered headboard composed of two overlapping horizontal panels that extend beyond the width of the sommier. The panels feature slightly different radii of curvature, creating a subtle visual movement that lightens the overall composition while emphasizing comfort and enclosure. Visible stitching highlights the geometry of the headboard and reinforces the bed's crafted character.
Materials & Finishes
The base and front portion of the headboard can be upholstered in fabric or leather with fully removable covers. The rear side of the headboard is available in leather or green-coated fabric and is not removable. The combination of different materials allows designers and homeowners to create contrasting or coordinated compositions tailored to individual interiors.
Configuration Options
Yuna is available with several base configurations, including the Leonardo H16 base, H25 base with adjustable slats, storage base, and Motion 4 base. These options allow the bed to respond to different functional requirements while maintaining a consistent visual identity.
Designed to convey both presence and lightness, Yuna combines a generously padded structure with an enveloping headboard intended to support relaxation and rest. The extended side panels create a sense of protection and intimacy, making the bed a natural centerpiece within the bedroom.
