Wallcoverings in SILENA Hotel | GLAMORA

GLAMORA is an Italian brand specializing in custom wallcoverings inspired by art, design, architecture, and nature. Notte Bella and Aurea wallcoverings from GLAMORA were used in SILENA – The Soulful Hotel, a boutique hotel located in Valles, South Tyrol, Italy. Redesigned by NOA in collaboration with architect Silvia Marzani, the project combines Alpine hospitality with influences drawn from Asian culture, creating a retreat dedicated to wellbeing, contemplation, and connection with nature.

Originally developed from a family-owned residence, SILENA has evolved into a hospitality destination centered on inner wellbeing. The latest renovation strengthens the hotel's distinctive identity through the careful integration of natural materials, subdued lighting, deep color palettes, and spaces designed to encourage reflection. Throughout the interiors, oriental references are introduced subtly, while maintaining a strong relationship with the surrounding mountain landscape and the character of South Tyrol.

GLAMORA wallcoverings were selected for key communal spaces within the hotel. In the reception and lounge areas, Notte Bella introduces a contemplative atmosphere through its fluid composition and immersive visual depth, reinforcing the sense of calm that defines the guest experience. In the library, Aurea is installed on the ceiling, depicting a moon surrounded by birds and transforming the space into a symbolic landscape that encourages reflection and quiet observation. Together, the wallcoverings contribute to the hotel's narrative, using decorative surfaces to enhance the emotional character of the interiors and strengthen the dialogue between architecture, nature, and wellbeing.
