Wallcoverings in Ambiente Sedona | GLAMORA

GLAMORA is an Italian brand specializing in custom wallcoverings inspired by art, design, architecture, and nature. Arsenic, Dehors, Flutti, Elektra, and Equinox wallcoverings from GLAMORA's Creative Collection were used in Ambiente Sedona, a luxury landscape hotel located in Arizona, United States. Designed by Tim Russell and Will Erwin in collaboration with owners Jennifer May and Colleen Tebrake, the project was conceived as an immersive hospitality experience that establishes a close relationship between architecture and the surrounding desert landscape.

Situated on the edge of Red Rock State Park, the hotel consists of 40 elevated accommodation units designed to preserve the native vegetation while maximizing views of the surrounding sandstone formations. Large glazed openings provide uninterrupted panoramas of the desert, while natural materials, earth-toned finishes, wellness facilities, and outdoor terraces reinforce the project's focus on relaxation and connection with nature. The architecture responds directly to the colors, textures, and atmosphere of the site, creating a strong sense of place.

GLAMORA wallcoverings were specified throughout the guest accommodations to strengthen the connection between the interiors and the surrounding environment. Each design references a different natural element, complementing the holistic vision of the project. Flutti depicts shimmering goldfish, Dehors features delicate foliage, Elektra introduces woven textures in earthy tones, Arsenic recalls butterfly wings, and Equinox is characterized by raised veining. Together, the wallcoverings contribute to the immersive character of the guestrooms while reinforcing the resort's narrative of wellbeing, nature, and sensory experience.
