Sellex is a company dedicated to designing furniture for contract and public spaces. Its versatile collections reflect curiosity and innovation, shaped by a broad, sensitive outlook that draws inspiration from disciplines, ways of thinking, and lived experiences.

The new headquarters of the Portuguese Professional Football League is located in the Ramalde district of Porto and was designed by OODA. The building goes beyond its institutional function as a league headquarters, conceived from the outset as a multifunctional complex open to the community. In addition to offices, the programme includes a museum, a shop, an auditorium, meeting areas, and a startup incubator focused on football-related innovation.

The architecture is defined by a bold formal gesture: a cube clad in white hexagons rises above a green base, a composition that references the geometry of a football goal while giving the building a distinct identity within the urban landscape of Ribeira da Granja. The internal organisation separates public-facing uses on the lower floors from office and training spaces in the upper tower, which is enclosed in glass to bring transparency and natural light into the working areas.

The multifunctional nature of the building informed the furniture selection throughout. Sellex supplied a total of 312 MASS Chairs (270 with a welded linking piece and 42 without), installed in black across the auditorium and meeting areas. The linking piece configuration allows rows to be assembled quickly and efficiently without requiring users to bend down, enabling the spaces to shift between different layouts depending on the event or activity.

An additional 26 SLAM Chairs in the same finish, with upholstered fronts, were selected for the Business School classrooms, alongside more than 30 FAST Tables in various sizes distributed across the complex.
