OLEV is an Italian designer lighting brand specializing in LED lamps that combine artisanal craftsmanship with intelligent lighting technology. Baryon is an indoor pendant lamp designed by De Amicis Architetti for OLEV, available in single- and triple-module configurations. Built around a mouth-blown glass body filled with a dense constellation of bubbles, the lamp emits LED light both upward and downward, producing an output that is powerful yet diffused—filtered and softened by the texture of the glass itself.

Single Module
The single-module version is organized as a double glass dome: two half-spheres joined by a precisely crafted metallic ribbon. The lower hemisphere directs light downward toward the surface below, while the upper hemisphere, densely studded with golden bubbles, allows light to pass through and project a scattered, pointillist pattern onto the ceiling. The result is a lamp that functions as both a focused task light and a decorative element simultaneously, suited to dining rooms, residential lounges, and intimate hospitality settings.
Triple Module
The triple-module version scales the concept for larger spaces. Three downward-facing glass shades are grouped within a shared iron and aluminum border, providing the illumination coverage needed for wide-span environments such as open-plan offices, lobbies, and contract interiors. The configuration was originally developed by De Amicis Architetti for the NTT DATA Europe & Latam headquarters in Bari, where high ceilings and generous volumes required a lamp capable of delivering strong, glare-free task lighting without sacrificing decorative presence. Both configurations share the same bubble-filled mouth-blown glass and dual-emission light source.
